Many organisations, large and small, across the UK are planning an incredible variety of events to celebrate the life and legacy of Charles Darwin.
From conferences and exhibitions to graphic novels and dramatic performances, there is something for everyone from scientists to young children.

An Advocacy Panel has been set up to promote Darwin200 to key stakeholders.
The University of Kent is hosting 'Carole Jahme is sexually selected' – a comedy show combining both Charles Darwin's evolutionary theories of sexual selection and Charlie Chaplin's theories of comedy. There will be a display of books by and about Darwin, from the Jack Johns Collection, in the Templeman Library. They have also organised a series of lectures, seminars and informal science discussions during the year.
