Many organisations, large and small, across the UK are planning an incredible variety of events to celebrate the life and legacy of Charles Darwin.
From conferences and exhibitions to graphic novels and dramatic performances, there is something for everyone from scientists to young children.

An Advocacy Panel has been set up to promote Darwin200 to key stakeholders.
The BA coordinates and organises National Science and Engineering Week and the BA Festival of Science. It will engage members of the public with the Darwin bicentenary events.
'The BA has been involved with Darwin's work since the Huxley/Wilberforce debate took place in 1860 at a BA Annual Meeting - one of the early examples of a heated debate in the science communication field. We continue to promote dialogue and debate, and this example continues to have relevance today.'
