Many organisations, large and small, across the UK are planning an incredible variety of events to celebrate the life and legacy of Charles Darwin.
From conferences and exhibitions to graphic novels and dramatic performances, there is something for everyone from scientists to young children.

An Advocacy Panel has been set up to promote Darwin200 to key stakeholders.
The Darwin Project seeks to provide creative opportunities for young people to explore and celebrate Darwin's life and ideas, within a local Cotswold and Forest of Dean context, where the very landscape is testimony to geological change and biological evolution. We are a long way from the sea, yet paradoxically we walk on the seabed.
At the same time it will provide an opportunity for ten primary schools, often devoid of drama teaching, to develop speaking and listening skills into performance, over an intensive three day period.
