The Linnean Society of London will recreate the original reading of the Darwin/Wallace papers to celebrate the 150th anniversary, as well as planning meetings and workshops on other aspects of Darwin's work.
'The Linnean Society is proud that Darwin first communicated his views on natural selection at a meeting of the Linnean Society on 1st July 1858. His ideas still have a remarkable freshness and clarity, and continue to inspire Fellows of our Society.'
Prof David Cutler, President of the Linnean Society of London
